Eden Greenfields is implementing a comprehensive school gardens programme to support Namibia's school feeding schemes across 1,000+ schools nationwide. We have a list of  20 pilot schools across 10 regions to launch this initiative, providing a foundation for nationwide expansion. Our approach strengthens local food systems while enhancing nutrition and education outcomes. We are seeking funding partnerships to implement this initiative with partners who share our commitment to sustainable development, food security, and education to bring this vision to reality.

1. Investing in Sustainable Impact

Partnering with us allows you to invest in a scalable, high-impact School Garden Project. Our model addresses immediate food security needs, builds capacity for sustainable food production, offers education and skills training, supports school feeding programs with fresh produce, and provides a replicable solution for implementation across multiple schools.

2. Comprehensive Implementation Process

Our comprehensive approach ensures the success of each school garden project. The process includes assessment and planning (1-2 weeks), infrastructure procurement and installation (2-3 weeks), a practical 3-day on-site training session, a minimum of 12 weeks of mentorship support, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. This structured approach takes at least 5 months from start to completion, establishing a solid foundation for each garden.

3. Customisable Investment opportunities

Investors can support key components of our program to drive success:

  • Infrastructure Investment: Fund the setup of gardens, including shade-net houses and irrigation systems.
  • Training and Mentorship: Sponsor training and mentorship programmes for sustainable outcomes.
  • Tools and Inputs: Provide gardening tools and essential supplies for schools.
  • Technology Fund: Invest in new technologies to enhance garden efficiency and educational opportunities.
